The Calibrite ColorChecker Video Mega is a professional color card that is ideal for landscapes, drones, extremely long recordings or a large film studio where you want the chip chart to be fully exposed to your shot.
Consistency
Despite its large size, the ColorChecker Video Mega contains the same chromatic colors, skin tones and gray chips as the other ColorChecker variants of X-Rite. This offers consistency when you change ColorChecker. This consistency is a tool for both production and post-production since the card is suitable for use with waveforms, vectorscopes, zebras and other tools for adjusting color and exposure.
Chromatic colors
This ColorChecker has 2 rows of 6 chromatic colors with both saturated and unsaturated values. These are designed to be aligned with the primary color axis on a vectorscope. These colors offer 2 levels of color information for quick removal of color cast and for an ideal and even color balance.
Skin colors
Positioned on the edge of the color chart you will find a series of color chips that are designed to display different skin tones from light to dark with subtle undertones.

Gray levels
There are 4 large areas in the center of the map to help with grayscale; white, gray, anthracite and black. You use these levels to determine the correct exposure when using waveform, zebra or false colors. This is extremely useful with multiple camera setups to ensure consistent exposure and mid-tone playback.
Linear grayscale
You use the 6 chips to display a linear grayscale to achieve an accurate gray balance, especially with regard to the highlights and shadow areas.
Illumination Check chips
Black and white chips are located in 2 of the corners to help determine uniform illumination across the target.
Software support
The ColorChecker is supported in both DaVinci Resolve and 3DLUT Creator for more efficiency in sorting colors.
