Overview

The SmallRig Cage for Sony Alpha 7 III / Alpha 7R III 2087D is meticulously crafted to provide versatile accessory mounts and camera protection. It securely locks the camera via one 1/4″-20 screw and two M2.5 screws on both sides, with built-in protective spacers to prevent scratches.

The cage offers full access to interfaces, dials, buttons, and the battery door, with a hinged arm at the battery compartment for a comfortable grip. Multiple mounting options include 1/4″-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes, and cold shoe mounts for attaching accessories like the top handle 3765, side handle 3260, monitor mount 2903B, microphones, LED lights, and monitors.

The bottom QD socket supports the QD shoulder strap, while the Arca-Swiss quick-release plate at the bottom is compatible with DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro gimbals, the quick release plate (riser plate) of DJI RS 2/RSC 2 stabilizers for stabilizer shooting, and Arca-Swiss quick release plate 3154. Optionally, the HDMI Cable Clamp 3637 / 1679 can be added to protect interfaces and ensure stable signal transmission during filming.

Holes on the cage’s sides and bottom allow attachment of accessories such as the hand strap PAC2456 and shoulder strap PSC2428. Additionally, the cage comes with a built-in magnetic spanner for easy disassembly and assembly.
