This SmallRig Half Camera Cage is built to safeguard your Sony FX2 and expand its mounting versatility, making it ideal for assembling a handheld rig tailored to your production needs. It features a detachable top plate with a NATO rail, allowing you to mount the Sony XLR top handle or other handle options without obstructing the EVF. The cage also includes a second NATO rail, multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads, a cold shoe mount, and a QD socket—offering broad compatibility with various accessories. A built-in Arca-type quick release plate supports seamless transitions between handheld, gimbal, or tripod shooting setups.
