Overview
The MID49 Base Kit with Audio Breakout Bundle for Blackmagic PYXIS is an accessory mounting solution designed to enhance your boxy PYXIS camera by adding multiple accessory attachment points. The included top plate allows you to attach the top handle, and both components are equipped with numerous 1/4″-20 and ARRI-compatible mounting points.
The lightweight baseplate includes an integrated 15mm rod bracket, enabling the attachment of optional 15mm rods to support your lens and rod-mounted accessories. It also features an Arca-type camera dovetail interface on the top and an ARRI-standard dovetail interface on the bottom, ensuring easy mounting and removal from support platforms. The side plate provides secure mounting for the included audio breakout cable, which allows you to connect separately available XLR microphones.
