Overview
MAVO Mark 2 LF, much like the MAVO Edge 6K, features a full-frame 3:2 CMOS image sensor, enabling it to achieve high frame rates of up to 75fps in 6K and dual native ISO settings of 5120/800. The updated MAVO LF Mark 2 excels in high sensitivity, preserving more highlight details, making it ideal for scenes with complex lighting. Its large format provides a wider viewing angle, delivering a shallower depth of field for a more cinematic look.
The MAVO Mark 2 enhances lens compatibility, continuing support for the versatile KineMOUNT system, which allows for quick adaptation to EF, PL, and LPL mounts. Additionally, it introduces new native PL and electronic E-mount options, which can be installed and removed by users without the need for flange distance adjustments.
The dual MAVO Mark 2 cameras incorporate a simplified version of the MAVO Edge high-performance computing platform, significantly upgrading the image processing system. They offer independent dual SDI outputs and record in ProRes4444XQ format to NVMe M.2 SSDs within the camera. This integration results in a sleek, lightweight design and efficient workflow, providing photographers with a classic and efficient cinematography experience at a more accessible price point.
