Redefining aerial cinematography with a bold evolution in both design and performance, the DJI Mavic 4 Pro Drone takes flight with advanced innovations. The traditional suspended gimbal seen in previous models has been replaced by a cutting-edge spherical 360° Infinity Gimbal, seamlessly integrated at the front for enhanced aerodynamics.
Inside, a revamped triple-camera setup takes center stage. The wide-angle Hasselblad camera now captures stunning 100MP stills, supports an adjustable aperture, and records vivid 6K video at 60 fps in HDR. It’s accompanied by a 48MP medium telephoto lens and a 50MP standard telephoto lens, both capable of 4K60 HDR video.
Designed with night shooting in mind, the drone features a powerful 0.1-lux nightscape omnidirectional obstacle avoidance system, reinforced by front-facing LiDAR for precise navigation. Beyond imaging, enhancements include improved video transmission, longer flight duration, native vertical shooting capabilities, and smarter vehicle tracking.
- 4K60 HDR video (up to 6K60 HDR for 100MP Hasselblad)
- Slow motion video at up to 4K120 (Hasselblad & medium tele) and 4K100 (tele)
- Dual native ISO fusion that seamlessly blends the best of high and low ISO settings
- High resolution RAW stacking of up to 5 frames
- Free Panorama & Subject Focusing modes
- 10-bit D-Log profiles for consistent color
- Up to 51 minutes of flight time
- Up to 90 kph top speed
- RC 2 remote controller with 5.5″ 1080p display
Improved Tracking
The Mavic 4 Pro introduces ActiveTrack 360, an evolution of the previous generation’s tracking technology. This new system allows the drone to follow subjects independently, making real-time navigation decisions without manual input. Thanks to enhanced low-light performance, it excels at tracking in urban environments after dark or during twilight. It also maintains focus even if parts of the subject—such as the lower body—become partially hidden. Additionally, the upgraded tracking system boasts improved directional awareness and can detect vehicles from up to 656 feet away, offering a major boost for dynamic automotive filming.
Night Flight
Equipped with six advanced low-light fisheye sensors, the Mavic 4 Pro offers 0.1-lux sensitivity for full-range obstacle detection, enabling secure flight even at night. Dual onboard processors enhance high-resolution environmental awareness, allowing the drone to avoid obstacles at speeds up to 40 mph, even under limited lighting like street lamps. This vision system supports precise positioning in near-total darkness or in areas where GPS coverage is weak. When ambient light drops below 0.1 lux, the drone’s forward-facing LiDAR steps in to detect obstacles, ensuring quick stops and reliable collision prevention.
O4+ Transmission
Stay fully aware of what your drone is filming with DJI’s O4+ video transmission system, which delivers stunning 10-bit HDR footage from distances of up to 18.6 miles. O4+ uses advanced algorithms to minimize signal dropouts in areas with heavy interference—like dense cityscapes—and ensures stable, high-quality transmission even during operations involving multiple drones.
Quick Transfer
You don’t need to power on the Mavic 4 Pro to access your footage. With Quick Transfer, simply use the DJI Fly app to wirelessly wake the drone—even while it’s still in your bag—and transfer files at speeds up to 80 MB/s via Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax). And if Wi-Fi isn’t available, you can still connect the drone to your computer using a USB cable, all without switching it on.
