The manual focus design has been specially developed for cameras with electronic viewfinder and also features a manual aperture ring that can be ‘de-clicked’ for quiet operation that is suitable for filmmakers. Based on the symmetrical Planar optical concept, this lens is adept at correcting chromatic aberrations and distortion throughout the aperture range for maintaining consistency and brightness. In addition, a Zeiss T * anti-reflective coating has been applied to individual lens elements to further reduce lens flare and ghosting for improved image clarity and contrast. The Zeiss Loxia series is built for the imaging requirements of modern full-frame cameras, based on conventional manual operation.
