Powerful Hasselblad Camera

The Mavic 3 features a Hasselblad camera with a 4/3-inch 20-megapixel CMOS sensor and a 24mm wide-angle lens, which delivers high-resolution images with a wide dynamic range of 12.8 stops, 10-bit color depth and an ISO range of 100. -6400.

The sensor also uses Hasselblad’s Natural Color Solution which provides realistic and pleasing color tones for great consistency and smooth color gradations.

Shoot in RAW

RAW format photos have a dynamic range of up to 12.8 stops. As a result, each scene contains more visual information, even in poor or difficult lighting conditions. This gives you more flexibility in post-processing, giving you more options to get the look you want.

Faster autofocus through VDAF technology

The Vision Detection Autofocus System works with multiple vision sensors to utilize distance data and optimize focusing speed.

Advanced Safety Features

Multiple wide-angle vision sensors, Advanced Return to Home (RTH), Low Battery RTH and omnidirectional obstacle detection are all integrated into the Mavic 3 to detect obstacles in all directions and ensure safe flight. The algorithms for the Advanced Pilot Assistance System (APAS 5.0) have been further improved. As a result, the DJI Mavic 3 avoids obstacles even in complex environments and at higher speeds.

Fly longer

The DJI Mavic 3 drone has a flight time of 46 minutes and reaches a top speed of 75 kilometers per hour. This allows the Mavic 3 to fly no less than 15 minutes longer than its predecessor and the drone flies 3 kilometers per hour faster. The range has been extended by 6 kilometers to 15 kilometers.

Hyperlapse in panorama

Speed up time and movement with a single tap for striking hyperlapse shots. It is also possible to take extremely larger and more detailed shots of your surroundings with the 100 megapixel panorama function.

Smart functions for perfect shots

MasterShots and FocusTrack effortlessly transform any adventure into beautiful cinematic images.

MasterShots

MasterShots is an advanced intelligent feature that lets you shoot the best videos in any location with just one tap. Simply select the subject and the drone will film as it performs 10 different movements in succession, keeping the subject in the center. A short cinematic video of these recordings is then automatically created.

NB!

The DJI Cellular Transmission Dongle will not be made available in Europe (and America) due to current regulations (VLOS).

A number of features including MasterShot, 4K 120fps, Active Track 5.0, Wifi 6.0 and Hyperlapse will be made available via a firmware update from January 2022.

Rules and Compatibility

Flying with a drone is nice, but keep in mind that this is subject to rules and laws. For example, it is prohibited to fly within a radius of three kilometers of an airport, above built-up areas, railway lines, roads, ports and crowds of people and outside VLOS (Visual Line of Site). Most drone manufacturers have the necessary tips regarding flying on their website. For the legal provisions, you can visit the website of the central government . Read carefully before you fly, this will prevent inconvenience. Not only for yourself, but also for those around you.

Many drones can (also) be operated with your smartphone or tablet. The compatibility between the app and your smart device depends on the version of the operating system your smart device is running on.
