Overview
Designed for acoustic guitarists who perform with amplification, the Zoom AC-2 Acoustic Creator is a DI pedal built to restore the natural character of your instrument—compensating for the tonal loss that often occurs with standard acoustic pickups. It offers 16 source presets, ensuring an appropriate tonal profile whether you’re playing a dreadnought, parlor guitar, nylon-string, 12-string, or even upright bass.
A convenient toggle lets you select between magnetic and piezo pickup types, optimizing the pedal’s behavior for each system. Tone shaping is straightforward with a three-band EQ, plus built-in reverb, adjustable volume, anti-feedback control, and an onboard tuner. A boost switch supplies up to 9 dB of extra gain for solos or standout moments. Whatever settings you choose, the AC-2’s high-quality, low-noise preamp helps you achieve a rich, resonant sound. The large volume knob controls both input gain and output level, simplifying level matching and making adjustments intuitive.
