SmallRig’s “Night Eagle” Cage for the Nikon Z 8 4316 is meticulously crafted to safeguard your camera while providing extensive accessory mounting options. Its design, featuring gun brown curves complemented by gold accents, perfectly accentuates the classic style of the Nikon Z 8.

Equipped with a robust three-point locking system, this cage ensures the secure attachment of your Nikon Z 8 using a bottom 1/4″-20 screw and two M2.5 screws on each side. The integrated pads effectively prevent scratches on your camera while granting unimpeded access to buttons, card slots, the flip screen, and the battery cover.

Enhancing its versatility, the cage includes various mounting interfaces such as 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes, along with ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes. These interfaces support a wide range of accessories including side handles, top handles, monitor mounts, quick release plates, mounting clamps for power banks, and mini V-Mount battery plates.

Furthermore, the cage features a detachable Cold Shoe Mount with a positioning pin to prevent deflection, allowing for the convenient attachment of LED video lights or microphones. It also includes side 1/4″-20 locating holes for compatibility with accessories like Single Rod Clamps and Magic Arms with Dual Ball Heads, along with a NATO rail for swift connection of NATO Side Handles.

For added convenience, the cage incorporates strap holes compatible with Hand Straps, as well as a QD socket for attaching QD strap buckles. The Arca-Swiss Quick Release plate on the bottom enables seamless transition between tripod and stabilizer modes, supporting both Arca-type tripods and DJI RS series stabilizers.
