Overview
This SmallRig Basic Cage Kit for Canon EOS C50 is designed to protect your camera and expand its mounting options to create a handheld rig that works for your production. The cage features two detachable NATO rails to attach the included top handle without interfering with the EVF. Additional mounting points on the cage include another built-in NATO rail, multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/6″-16 threads, a cold shoe mount, a strap slot, and a QD socket to accommodate a wide variety of accessories. A built-in Arca-type quick release plate allows for efficient transitions between handheld and gimbal or tripod shooting configurations.
