This Rycote Classic Softie and Universal Shotgun Mount Kit is an all-in-one wind-reduction and mounting solution for Rode NTG Series shotgun microphones and similar mics. The kit contains a universal shotgun mount for booms, a Classic Softie windshield for protection against wind noise, a patented Duo-Lyre shockmount for isolation against handling disturbances, and a cold-shoe adapter for on-camera mounting.

The Softie Kit NTG from Rycote has been developed for the Rode NTG1, NTG2, NTG3, NTG4 and NTG4 + microphones. Its superior Duo-Lyre suspension provides an enormous reduction in wind and noise and this contributes to excellent recordings. Its small weight ensures that it is not an additional burden on the microphone that is used and is quick and easy to install. It is also possible to use the Rycote Softie Kit for shotgun microphones with a diameter between 19 and 25 mm. The kit comes with a camera shoe adapter so that you can place it on any camera.
