Overview

The MID49 Upper Cage with Audio Breakout AB-6 for select Blackmagic cameras is a precision-engineered, form-fitting cage featuring 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes, surrounded by ARRI-compatible anti-twist divots and multiple M4 x 20mm ARRI-spaced threaded holes. It includes two 15mm accessory rods, each equipped with 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes with anti-twist divots, along with a cold shoe mount and a specially contoured recess for the included MID49 AB-6 audio breakout box. Additionally, the cage features integrated HDMI and USB protector clamps for secure cable attachment and a front lens support mount that is compatible with third-party lens adapters, including Metabones.
