Overview
The Laowa Proteus is a high-performance anamorphic lens that blends modern sharpness with vintage characteristics. It features a constant 2X squeeze ratio, T2 aperture, close focusing distance, and pleasant oval bokeh. The lens offers amber, blue, and silver flares, low focus breathing, and a user-friendly cine housing. With a 1.4X extender, it provides full-frame coverage and comes with PL and Canon EF mounts.
The Proteus series delivers a vintage anamorphic look with a constant 2X squeeze ratio, large aperture, and outstanding sharpness. It can focus as close as 55cm and features a 105mm filter thread, low focus breathing, and cine housing with 0.8 mod gear and back focus adjustment. The 1.4X adapter allows for full-frame coverage with impressive image quality.
