The Laowa Nanomorph 80mm T2.4 1.5x S35 lens (Amber) (L-mount) is a compact and lightweight anamorphic lens designed to capture high-quality organic images with a 1.5x anamorphic squeeze on cameras equipped with S35 sensors. It offers telephoto compression ideal for close-ups, an aperture range from T2.4 to T16 for deep depth of field, and 13 aperture blades for soft bokeh.

This prime lens boasts a short minimum focusing distance of 70 cm and provides anamorphic features such as oval bokeh, shallower depth of field, and amber lens flares. Additionally, it includes focus markings in both foot and meter, 0.8 MOD cine gears on focus and aperture rings, and a 62 mm front filter thread. The L-mount lens mount is interchangeable, allowing it to be swapped for six other separately available mounts. For achieving a squeeze ratio of 2x, this Nanomorph prime can be used with the separately available 1.33x adapter.

A squeeze ratio of 1.5x strikes a perfect balance between size and anamorphic intensity. After de-squeezing, this results in an aspect ratio of 2.66:1 on a 16:9 sensor. Furthermore, with coverage greater than that of the S35, Nanomorph lenses can be utilized with minimal vignetting on certain full-frame cameras.
