The IRIX Edge ND Filter is a solid neutral-density filter with an optical density of 4.5 and 15-stop exposure reduction. It reduces incoming light across the entire image area, allowing reduced shutter speeds and wider apertures.
The filter is designed for landscape and long-exposure photography, including exposure times of several minutes in bright sunlight. It features multi- and resistance-coated glass with an aluminum ring.
