The Irix Edge MMS ND SR Magnetic Filter provides a 6-stop exposure reduction with a 1.8 optical density, darkening the entire image. This allows photography with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed without overexposure, helping control depth of field and convey movement.
Made from super-resistant optical glass, the filter features multilayer coatings to reduce reflections and improve light transmission efficiency. Its threadless design attaches to compatible IRIX lenses using the lens's built-in magnetic mounting system.
