Overview
The Rycote OM-08 is a compact small-diaphragm condenser microphone for studio, live, and field applications. Its omnidirectional pickup pattern, flat frequency response, and low self-noise support accurate sound reproduction.
The microphone features a back electret condenser element, a lightweight aluminum capsule, a low-noise brass preamp, active in-line RF filtering, and a gold-plated Neutrik XLR connector. It provides solid low-end pickup with virtually no drop off at 20 Hz.
