Overview

The Zoom LiveTrak L-20 is a highly versatile 20-input digital mixer and multitrack recorder, ideal for live shows, studio production, band rehearsals, podcasting, and more. It provides 16 mono channels, each equipped with combo XLR-1/4″ mic/line inputs featuring high-gain, low-noise preamps, +48V phantom power, and a single-knob compressor. Two additional stereo channels offer dual 1/4″ and RCA inputs, while Channels 1–2 include Hi-Z options for directly connecting guitars and basses. Every channel integrates with the onboard channel strip, complete with a low-cut filter, 3-band EQ, pan control, and two FX sends that feed the built-in 20-effect processor with two dedicated EFX return channels.

The L-20 includes balanced XLR main outputs and six balanced TRS 1/4″ monitor outputs, each capable of delivering its own custom mix—just plug in headphones or a stage monitor and tailor levels as needed. Nine snapshot presets enable quick recall of different configurations and sessions, making the L-20 a flexible solution for a wide range of recording and live-sound situations.
