The Laowa Proteus is a series of anamorphic lenses that blend modern sharpness with vintage characteristics. It features a 2X squeeze ratio, T2 aperture, close focusing distance, pleasant oval bokeh, low focus-breathing, and excellent sharpness. The lenses come with user-friendly cine housing, including 0.8 mod gear, back focus adjustment, and a 105mm filter thread. They cover s35+ sensors and can extend to full-frame with a 1.4X expander. Available with PL and Canon EF mounts, these lenses ensure consistent performance across various focal lengths.
