Brand new product: Movcam’s HELM Stabilized Remote Head

At NAB 2024 in Las Vegas, MOVCAM showcased its HELM 360° Stabilized Remote Head, which is set to be available for international purchase soon.

The HELM Stabilized Remote Head is designed to handle substantial payloads, supporting camera setups weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs), making it ideal for large digital cinema camera packages. In its 3-axis configuration, the HELM Stabilized Remote Head weighs just 6.6 kg, and this can be further reduced to 5.2 kg when configured for 2-axis use, providing flexibility and ease of manipulation.

The working temperature range of the HELM Stabilized Remote Head extends from -20° C to 50° C, accommodating various shooting environments from icy landscapes to desert heat.

MOVCAM’s HELM will hit the market in the upcoming months with a price tag of $19,000 USD. Additionally, the control wheels will be available for $5,000 USD.
