The Laowa Nanomorph 80mm T2.4 1.5x S35 lens (Silver) (L-mount) is a compact, lightweight anamorphic lens designed to capture high-quality organic images with a 1.5x anamorphic squeeze on S35 sensor cameras. It boasts telephoto compression, making it ideal for close-up shots, and offers an aperture range from T2.4 to T16, ensuring deep depth of field. With 13 aperture blades, this lens produces soft bokeh for aesthetically pleasing images.

Featuring a short minimum focusing distance of 70 cm, this prime lens also provides anamorphic characteristics such as oval bokeh, shallower depth of field, and silver lens flares. Additionally, it includes focus markings in both foot and meter, 0.8 MOD cine gears on focus and aperture rings, and a 62 mm front filter thread. The Leica L lens mount is interchangeable, offering compatibility with six other separately available mounts. Moreover, users can pair this Nanomorph prime with the separately available 1.33x adapter to achieve a squeeze ratio of 2x.

A squeeze ratio of 1.5x offers a perfect balance between size and anamorphic intensity, resulting in an aspect ratio of 2.66:1 on a 16:9 sensor after de-squeezing. Furthermore, the lens provides coverage greater than that of the S35, allowing its use with minimal vignetting on certain full-frame cameras.
