The Irix Edge ND1000 52mm Filter is a solid neutral-density filter with an optical density of 3.0 and 10-stop exposure reduction. It darkens the entire image area, allowing reduced shutter speeds and wider apertures.

The filter is made of glass, with a multi- and resistance-coated surface and an aluminum ring. It is supplied with a filter case.
