The Irix Edge SR UV Filter protects the front lens element and uses optical-grade glass with a 99.30% transmittance rate. Its low-profile, knurled-edged frame screws onto the front element of a camera.

Multilayer antireflective coatings on both sides support contrast and sharpness without affecting color rendition. Moisture- and dirt-repellent nano coatings assist with maintenance.
