The Irix Edge ND32 72mm is a solid neutral density filter with an optical density of 1.5 and 5-stop exposure reduction. It darkens the entire image area, allowing reduced shutter speeds and wider apertures for more controlled motion blur and depth-of-field adjustment.

The filter is made of glass, with a multi- and resistance-coated surface and an aluminum ring.
