Tamron 25-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III VXD G2 can easily become many photographers go anywhere and do anything lens. Designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, the 25-200mm is a match with a relatively compact and lightweight design for its zoom range and aperture. Also, Tamron has used the latest imaging technology that works together with the camera for fast, smooth operation

Features

A long history of capable all-in-one zooms continues to expand with the release of the 25-200mm, which now reaches to an even wider 25mm compared to its predecessors. This provides photographers with a touch more range and with a minimum focus distance of just 6.3″ at the wide end they can also get closer with a 1:1.9 magnification ratio, or half-life-size macro.

The wide-angle to telephoto range provides shooters with plenty of options as they work, benefitting everything from landscapes to portraits to sports. A fast maximum aperture at even allows for shallow depth of field with smooth bokeh.

An advanced VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) motor powers a fast and accurate autofocus system for capturing sharp, detailed imagery. Combined with modern-day optics, including GM, LD, and XLD elements, results in a highly capable lens that is a reliable choice for discerning photographers. A BBAR-G2 Coating also helps reduce the impact of ghosting and flare.
