]]> The DV-F980 offers all the features of our DV-F970 but with the advantage of a higher capacity output. To the eye they are no different, but the DV-F980 is a 50Wh battery delivering an output of 7800 milliamps. This gives the user approximately 10% more run time.

As with all our NPF replacement batteries they fully support the INFO technology Sony relies on to display the battery usage. This Hawk-Woods Mini DV battery can be charged by any L-series compatible Sony charger, as well as our own 2, 4 & 8 Channel versions.

    Keep all your GripBAT batteries charged with the PD Hybrid Dual Charger from Kinefinity. The charger allows you to charge two GripBAT 2S L-series batteries, two GripBAT 4S BP-U30 batteries, or one of each simultaneously, even though they are different battery types.

    The charger also allows you to charge the batteries using PD fast charge with the optional 65W PD power adapter. The charger is powered using a separately available USB Type-C charge cable or adapter that supports 60W and above PD charging, and the Kinefinity 65W PD Power Adapter is recommended.

    The Viltrox NP-F970 Battery 6600mah with USB C Charging Port is a li-ion battery with a capacity of 6600mAh/48.84Wh. This battery is fully compatible with devices using Sony NP-F970 batteries. The battery is protected against overcharging, too deep discharge, too high current, too high voltage and short circuit.
    Charging via USB-C
    This Viltrox NP-F970 battery can be charged not only with a special charger for this type of battery but also using a standard USB-C cable and a power bank or USB charger. This is not only more universal but also saves space.
    LED indicators
    Four LED indicators on the battery indicate the battery’s charge percentage.  (1 LED per 25% charge, 4 LEDs is fully charged). When charging, the LEDs provide information on charging and when the battery is full.
