This SmallRig Camera Cage is crafted to protect your Sony FX2 while enhancing its mounting flexibility, allowing you to build a handheld rig tailored to your production needs. It includes a removable top plate with a NATO rail, enabling the attachment of the Sony XLR top handle or alternative top handles without obstructing the EVF. The cage also provides a variety of mounting options, such as an additional NATO rail, multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads, a cold shoe mount, and a QD socket for attaching a wide range of accessories. A built-in Arca-type quick release plate supports quick transitions between handheld, gimbal, or tripod setups. The included HDMI cable clamp helps keep your cable connections secure and stable.
