NEW Sirui Mars 1.33x Anamorphic Lens Set for Micro 4/3 mount is a sharp and fast anamorphic lens kit designed to bring a cinematic look to your videos. The four included lenses 24mm, 35mm, 50mm and 75mm cover a key focal range to offer complete versatility.

With its 1.33x Ratio, the lens takes full advantage of the 16×9 sensor crop that these cameras shoot video in to produce a 2.4:1 aspect ratio that is synonymous with theatre movie experiences.

The lens kit uses an optically distorting anamorphic front element to squeeze the horizontal axis of the shot by 1.33 times which allows for more information to be fit onto the sensor. This is then stretched back out in post-production or in-camera (see manufacturers specs for compatibility) to create the wider field of view and ratio compared to a conventional aspherical lens.

The lens kit reproduces flares beautifully whilst the coatings on the lens keep them from obscuring the entire frame. The fast aperture of T2 to T2.9 to creates a very shallow depth of field increasing the oval-shaped bokeh effect that is found in anamorphic lenses. this soft out of focus area is one of the many benefits that a true anamorphic lens brings over its filter counterparts or digital crop bars that are used to imitate the anamorphic ‘look’.

This bundle of the Pictor 20-55mm and 50-125mm T2.8 Super35 Zoom Lens Bundle from DZOFilm comprises a two-lens set with a white finish. The lenses provide coverage of an extended zoom range with a relatively fast maximum aperture. Both lenses cover Super35 and have similar lengths, weight, lens gear positions, and front outer diameter, making for fast lens swaps. Each lens comes standard with a PL mount and also includes a Canon EF mount for compatibility with a wide range of digital cinema cameras. The lenses hold focus throughout the focal length range and feature matching 16-blade irises for producing round out-of-focus highlights. This bundle includes a durable protective case for transport and storage.

Par Focal Zooms

Both zooms are parfocal in design and performance with a maximum aperture of f/2.8. Each lens covers the Super35 image circle, comes standard with an interchangeable PL mount, and includes a Canon EF mount. The 16-blade iris creates round out-of-focus highlights, which have a more natural appearance and contributes to the lens’s natural-looking bokeh. The lens features cine-style gear rings on the focus, iris, and zoom lens rings, making it compatible with cine-style lens accessories such as follow focus units, lens motors, and lens control systems. The 95mm outer front diameter allows you to use a variety of compatible third-party matte boxes, and the lens has an 86mm filter thread. A lens support foot allows you to support the lens on rods to help reduce strain on your camera’s lens port.

This super wide-angle lens, with a field of view of 110 degrees, makes it possible for every photographer to make a composition with an extreme perspective. The ZEISS Milvus 2.8 / 15 has excellent image quality, even with the aperture open, thanks to the good correction of color aberrations. Color edges and distortion are therefore minimal. This is due to the ZEISS Distagon® design with 15 lens elements in 12 groups, including two aspherical lens parts, special glass with deviating partial dispersion, and a floating lens element design.
