This 15mm T2.6 cine lens offers a stunning 110-degree field of view, making it ideal for a variety of setups. It’s available for Canon EF, Sony E, MFT, Canon RF, Nikon Z, L Mount, and PL Mount, and it’s fully compatible with large-format sensors. This means it easily accommodates high-end cameras like the EOS R5, RED Monstro, and Sony Venice, while also supporting smaller sensors such as MFT or Super 35 with a crop factor of x2 or x1.6.

The lens housing is specially designed for cinematic use, featuring weather sealing and a fixed rear element to protect against dust infiltration. Its minimum focus distance is 28 cm from the sensor, giving you excellent close-up flexibility.

Recognizing the collaborative nature of filmmaking, all lens markings are placed on the side for easy visibility by operators and focus pullers working alongside the camera, rather than reading settings from above as with standard photography lenses.

The aperture ring offers a smooth 75-degree rotation and includes 9 blades for beautifully rounded bokeh. The focus ring provides a precise 180-degree throw and features industry-standard 0.8 pitch gears, making it fully compatible with follow focus systems. In addition, the adaptive ring, found on all Irix Cine lenses, provides extra clearance for electronic follow focus systems by allowing you to adjust the space as needed.

For added versatility, the lens features a standard 95mm front mount for matte boxes, along with an 86mm filter thread. This lets you use screw-in filters when you want a compact setup without the added bulk and cost of larger matte box filters.

The T2.6 aperture rating refers to the lens’s actual light transmission, ensuring precise exposure control, while the F-stop measurement corresponds to the diaphragm opening. This combination provides excellent light management for consistent and reliable cinematic performance.
