After shaking the spray can, spray on the photo location for at least 20 seconds. The Haze Spray will remain in the air for several minutes so that you can shoot the images you want. It is important that you have lighting at the back so that the haze is clearly visible. Sunbeams coming in through the window can be used very well for this.
