The 8Sinn Riser Plate II is designed to be combined with the included 8Sinn 15mm Baseplate and the 8Sinn Arca Swiss Plate, which is created specifically for it. All these products combined together form a set that is the base for the camera and allows quickly releasing from the baseplate and switching to handheld shooting. The Arca Swiss Plate is precisely shaped on the inside to be aligned with the safety locks on the Riser Plate II – there is a release pin on one side and a lever on the other. Thanks to this, when these items are connected, they’re secured from both sides. The long slot in the middle of the Arca Swiss Plate gives the ability of connecting it to a camera cage in ways adjusted to the threaded openings on the cage with the help of 1/4“ or 3/8“ mounting screws which are supplied. The 8Sinn 15mm Baseplate has two 32mm Arri Rosettes and 15mm rod openings. Thanks to those holes, there is a possibility of connecting the set with 8Sinn Shoulder Pad to turn it into a shoulder rig. Whereas, on the bottom of the 8Sinn 15mm Baseplate there are dovetail guide rails. Thus, the set can be connected with a dovetail plate and mounted on a tripod head. This makes a great solution for more complex camera rigs.

The 8Sinn Universal Arca Swiss Plate is designed to be mounted on a riser plate or tripod head equipped with Arca-Swiss quick-release system. The locking pins on the Arca Swiss Plate are there to provide more security by preventing the plate from falling off. It can be attached to the camera cage with two mounting screws: 1/4” or 3/8” which are included.
