With a weight of only 1 kilogram, the DJI RS 2 has a tested load capacity of 4.5 kilograms and thus offers the highest weight-to-load capacity ratio in the industry. Thanks to the carbon fiber construction, the gimbal is incredibly light and very strong.

Color touchscreen

The RS2 is equipped with a 1.4 inch color touchscreen. The Open ActiveTrack 3.0 function can be controlled directly from the touchscreen, giving you complete creative freedom. You can also quickly adjust all parameters via the full color LCD screen and use all functions of the Ronin App. The RavenEye image transfer system is required to use ActiveTrack 3.0.

Powerful battery

The BG30 grip has a maximum operating time of approximately 12 hours and can be charged independently of the DJI RS 2. The gimbal uses a cartridge design for safer mounting and battery changes.

For use with larger cameras such as the Sony FX6, C70 and other larger pro video cameras, the use of the Smallrig 3158B or 3031 quick release plate is recommended. The plates ensure that the stabilizer is easier to stabilize. These quick-release plates can be found with the optional accessories.
