Overview

The versatile Zoom LiveTrak L-12 is a 12-channel digital mixer and multitrack recorder designed to excel in various settings, including live performances, studio sessions, band practices, podcasts, and more. This compact unit offers 8 mono channels equipped with combo XLR-1/4″ inputs featuring high-gain, low-noise microphone preamps, +48V phantom power, and a single-knob compressor. The two stereo channels provide dual 1/4″ and RCA inputs, while channels 1-2 also include Hi-Z inputs for direct guitar or bass connections. Each channel integrates seamlessly with the onboard channel strip, which includes a low-cut filter, 3-band EQ, pan control, and send FX for routing signals to the built-in 16-effect processor, complete with a dedicated EFX Return channel.

Comica Audio CVM-AX1 Overview

The Comica Audio CVM-AX1 is a camera-mount, two-channel audio mixer for DSLR/mirrorless cameras. Built with portability in mind, it allows you to mount up to two mics, wireless receivers, or a combination of both, mix their signal, and record them directly to your camera—while monitoring in real time with headphones.

The CVM-AX1 features three 3.5mm audio inputs: left, right, and stereo. The left and right inputs can be switched to accept either a battery-powered or dynamic mic, a mic without battery that requires plug-in power, or a line-level device such as a wireless receiver or a mixing board. The stereo input accepts stereo mics.

The mono/stereo switch gives you the option of recording each channel either in mono or in stereo. Two volume knobs enable you to independently adjust the level for both channels.

Made of durable aluminum, the CVM-AX1 attaches to your camera using the included shoe mount. It is equipped with three cold shoe connectors, one on the top and one on each side to attach multiple mics and receivers, or an LED light.

Use the 3.5mm, coiled detachable audio cable to connect the output of the CVM-AX1 to the 3.5mm audio input of your camera. The unit runs on two AAA batteries.

Record microphones, instruments, or line-level signals into your DSLR with the Comica Audio CVM-AX3, a dual-channel mixer designed for use in video production, ENG, music videos, and more. Mount it to a camera or tripod then attach important accessories to its integrated cold shoe mounts. Azden MX-10 Send/Return Breakout Cable for FMX-42a

The MX-10 is a multi-pin stereo send and return breakout cable designed for use with the FMX-42a Portable Mixer. It has a 10-pin Hirose male connector that goes to 2 balanced XLR connectors and 1 stereo 3.5mm male connector.

With the MX-10 you can take full advantage of the FMX-42a’s return monitoring capabilities. Send stereo audio to your camera and return for monitoring at the mixer.

Adding the MX-10 to your toolkit also gives you the ability to send stereo audio to 2 separate recording devices, as the FMX-42a’s 10-pin output and main XLR outputs can be used simultaneously.

The MX-10 is 3 feet in length and can be extended by using standard XLR microphone cables and a 3.5mm headphone extension cable (sold by 3rd parties).

The 10-pin camera return may also be used as a secondary stereo output, independent from the mixer’s main XLR outputs, using Azden’s MX-10 Cable.
