Users have the benefit of 4x Power-con (D-Tap) outputs 11 – 17 volts allowing further equipment/accessories to be powered. 1x 5V 2A USB is also available for powering or charging accessories such as mobile phones.

Power is provided via a 20cm DC jack cable via the FX9’s DC Input which is regulated to 19.5v.

A low voltage warning LED is also situated at the top of the fitting, this is to combat the camera as it will only ever see the 19.5v in the viewfinder. So no warning would be given when the battery is low. The LED will flash at 11.5v, giving you a decent warning to make a change.

(This will also work with the Sony FX6 camera)

The adapter is designed to work with the 056W & 058W monitor, this adapter will simply mount to the rear of the monitor allowing the use of V-Lok batteries. Screws are provided with the kit.

A fixed flying 13.5cm lead will provide power to the monitor DC input. The fitting also offers a D-TAP output for powering further accessories.

Using the MINI V-Lok battery system, will keep weight to a minimum, however provide plenty of power to the monitor allowing you to run for longer with less battery changes. This is massive improvement from running off the Sony NPF batteries.

VL-95N has new cell technology, the new cells offer very low resistance which allows the user to draw high current up to 12A from a single cell.

Extra high performance contacts have been added which benefits by taking the load off existing contacts, this allowing you pull more current comfortably. Built in fuel gauge, thermal protection, short circuit protection, discharge and voltage protection are all still features.

Lastly the battery benefits from 1x Power-Con (D-Tap) output which provides nominal battery voltage.

This battery replaces our existing VL-100 battery, however fits comfortably in our 70Wh case.

To fit this product, firstly mount the anodized back plate to the camera with screws provided. Once this is attached you can then mount the BPU plate to the anodized back plate.

You can also purchase the VLM-ZC2 which then attaches via a dummy BPU and offers a mini-vl fitting plate so you can use mini-vl batteries. This would also offer you a Power-con and USB output.
