Tilta Quick Release Top Handle (Black)
This Tilta Quick Release Top Handle, in black, is a durable, sculpted top handle that attaches securely to a cold shoe and provides accessory mounting points, in addition to a top handle grip for your camera. The quick release handle’s features include two cold shoe mounts, one in the front with a spring-loaded safety latch and the second on the back. The handle also features a 15mm rod port and multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads with and without anti-twist divots.

The aluminum and stainless steel handle attaches to your camera or cage using the included spring-loaded thumbscrew. The 15mm rod port features a locking lever to secure the rod in place. On the front face of the handle, there is a 1/4″-20 threaded mounting hole with anti-twist divots. Tilta Threaded 15mm Rod (Black, 12″, Single)
Tilta’s 12″ Threaded 15mm Rod is a 12″ rod with female threading on both ends. This allows you to use optional threaded rod adapters to extend the length. As a standard practice, Tilta chamfers one end of their rods and leaves the other end with a straight cut. The chamfering makes it easier to slide accessories onto the rod, while the end with the straight cut makes for a smoother rod join.

The rod is made from machined aluminum for a balance between weight and strength, and then anodized black for wear and corrosion resistance. Please note that there is no industry-wide standard for support rod threading, so when sourcing optional rod extenders, it is best to stay within one brand.
