Smart-Clamp Mechanism

Quick release and secure locking in one simple motion

The innovative Smart-Clamp system combines convenience and security in a single button. With its spring-loaded design, you can quickly attach or detach your phone. Slide the Smart-Clamp button downward to open the lower jaw and insert your device. To lock it in place, push the button upward until you hear a reassuring “click,” engaging the brake system to enhance grip strength.

Works with almost all modern smartphones

The G2’s adjustable rubber-padded jaws are designed to securely hold any smartphone between 64 and 90 mm wide, whether or not it has a case. This includes popular models like the latest iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Huawei, Xiaomi, Pixel, Sony Xperia, and HTC devices. However, it’s not compatible with older, smaller phones like the iPhone 4 or 5, foldable devices, or small tablets like the iPad Mini.

Whether you’re shooting horizontal, square, or vertical video, the G2 makes it effortless to switch orientations. Its ergonomic design lets you tilt the grip 90° to adjust your format while keeping a comfortable hold with one or both hands. Plus, your thumbs remain free for easy access to screen controls.

Expand your setup with 6 cold shoes and 2 tripod mounts

The G2 is equipped with 6 cold shoe mounts, providing ample space to attach professional accessories like microphones, lights, or extra batteries. Additionally, two 1/4”-20 metal tripod mounts allow you to stabilize your rig in either portrait or landscape mode, or further expand your setup with brackets or articulated arms.

For professionals managing multiple rigs, the G2 includes a recessed 26×18 mm area on its back for labeling. This feature makes it easier to track and organize your equipment, whether in a newsroom, studio, or out in the field.
