One of the key improvements introduced with the MagMod 2 modifiers is a focus on size and weight reduction. The MagMod design team gave priority to reducing as much weight as possible without sacrificing durability, function and aesthetic form.

The overall width of the MagGrip 2 on the flash has been shrunk by 30%, making it feel like it is almost not there!

This seemingly minor adjustment helps the flash feel less bulky, while still maintaining the ease and speed of the oh-so-good magnetic modular system that MagMod pioneered.

The MagGrip 2 has also been optimised to work even more seamlessly than before with new flash units with round heads. We improved the already universal design and made it even slimmer for newer flash models.

The MagSphere 2 is now 40% lighter than its predecessor. That may not sound like much, but photographers will immediately notice the difference in weight and size, especially when shooting in dynamic environments that require on-camera flash, such as weddings or events.  It gives a beautiful diffused light with wide flash spread. The magnetic attachment is strong, secure and quick to install.
