Stabilization & dynamic range

This camera uses 4-axis stabilization (4D) and gives videographers more flexibility. The vertical Z-axis stabilization is built into the Zenmuse X9-8K full frame camera and the gimbal has 3-axis stabilization. The Zenmuse X9 camera also supports dual native ISO (800/4000), so you can take impressive images even in the evening with rich details and minimal noise. Effortlessly capture highlights and lows and all transitions between them in the most challenging lighting situations thanks to the 14+ stops of dynamic range of the Zenmuse X9 camera. Direct sunlight and backlit scenes are no longer a challenge.

Image Transfer & Combo Kit

The DJI O3 Pro Video Transmission technology enables long-distance image transmission, which is ideal for larger productions. The camera’s battery lasts up to 2.5 hours of recording time and is fully charged in 1.5 hours. An auto-heating function is also available for cold weather conditions. The 4D also features internal microphones for dual-channel 24-bit audio recordings. You can also use the 3.5 mm and XLR ports for expanded recording options. The combo kit consists of various extensive accessories with which you can equip the 4D as desired. Think of a TB50 battery, LiDAR Range Finder, modular monitor, 1TB ProSSD storage and handy grips and various lens mounts.

LiDAR & Manual Focus

ActiveTrack Pro ensures that the camera automatically maintains focus during tracking shots. With just one push of a button, you can put the camera in Sports mode, so that the gimbal responds quickly to your movements. With the focus motor, autofocus is even available on manual lenses. The Automated Manual Focus mode gives you the freedom to manually focus as the camera itself rotates the focus wheel when the focus point is shifted. Wireless control of the camera and the focus system is of course also possible.

Designed for both solo use by independent creators and dynamic pro video capture, the Ronin 4D from DJI is an innovative all-in-one camera/gimbal solution. The “4D” designation refers to the Z-axis (vertical) stabilization built into the X9-6K camera and the three-axis gimbal stabilization. Ronin 4D is equipped with Zenmuse X9, DJI’s flagship full-frame camera. It also features DJI’s latest image processing system, CineCore 3.0. This system uses DJI’s proprietary chip to provide advanced processor architecture, offering extremely high-performance computing power in a compact cinema camera. CineCore 3.0 allows Ronin 4D to support internal recording of Apple ProRes RAW, ProRes 422 HQ, and H.264 video. It also supports up to 8K/75fps and 4K/120fps video recording, delivering multiple options for professional-level creation.

DCI 8K (8192×4320)/60fps video retains every little detail, from rich foliage to inspiring architecture, skin texture to strands of hair, all with flawless quality. For those who need to output in 4K, recording in 8K offers unprecedented creative options with more flexibility for cropping, re-composing, and stabilizing videos in post.
