Thanks to Samyang’s exceptional optical technology, this lightweight compact AF lens is nevertheless full of elements that ensure exceptional image quality. It is made up of nine elements in eight groups, including three aspherical lens elements and two high-refraction lens elements plus a Samyang Ultra Multi Coating to minimize aberration and flare. The Samyang AF 18mm delivers high resolution images from the center to the corners. This lens is specially designed to work perfectly with the Full-Frame mirrorless cameras with Sony E mount. On a Full-Frame sensor, the AF 18 mm gives an impressive large viewing angle of 100 degrees for wide perspectives.
