The NP-98D battery is fantastic for today’s sound-recordist and can be used in conjunction with our APD power distribution box or regulated NP1 adaptor shoes.

This particular version “D” will allow data communication to NPD-8S when used with NPD1 or other NP1 shoes and cups where the data pins are available.

NP-98D will offer communication to mixers such as Sound Device’s 833 / 888 and Scorpio providing you are using a correct NP1 shoe – NPD-TA4 or NPD1
