The SmallRig Dual 15mm Rod Battery Hinge MD2802 is a versatile accessory designed to facilitate the convenient mounting of batteries on camera rigs. This hinge features a standard dual 15mm rod system, allowing easy attachment to a railblock or shoulder pad equipped with a dual rod clamp, such as the VCT-14 Shoulder Plate 2837. It is intended for use in conjunction with a compatible battery plate, like the V Mount Battery Plate 1846 and MD2801, accommodating the installation of a battery on the rig.

The hinge’s adjustable angle provides flexibility for personalized setup configurations and can be securely locked in place on the shoulder rig. The inclusion of multiple 1/4″-20 threaded holes on the hinge expands its functionality, enabling the mounting of various accessories to enhance the overall rig setup.
