The Laowa Aksen 17.5mm f/1.7 5-10X Ultra Macro APO Lens with Coaxial Illumination is designed for ultra-macro photography at magnifications from 5:1 to 10:1. It provides a fixed 0.9" / 22.5 mm working distance from the front of the lens.
An internal parfocal zoom design maintains focus throughout the magnification range. Coaxial illumination supports detail capture, while the APO optical design reduces color fringing. The lens has a compact form factor and an 11-blade aperture.
