Protect and mount your Canon C70 camera and add a variety of accessories with this black\u00a0Tiltaing Lightweight Camera Support Kit\u00a0from\u00a0Tilta. The kit includes a full camera cage, a 15mm LWS baseplate, and two 8″ long 15m rods to support your Canon C70 camera.<\/p>\n

The durable aluminum cage is designed to fit the Canon C70, and the camera mounts onto the cage using a 1\/4″-20 anti-twist screw. It features a support for the Tilta RF-to-EF-mount lens adapter, multiple 1\/4″-20 and 3\/8″-16 mounting threads, an Arca-type plate, a shoe mount, a NATO rail, and an ARRI-style rosette on the bottom for vertical shooting.<\/p>\n

The baseplate is designed for the height of the C70 camera cage and provides 15mm LWS rod ports on the front and back, 1\/4-20 and 3\/8″-16 threads on the bottom, and it can mount onto ARRI-style dovetail plates. The durable aluminum cage is designed to fit the Canon C70, and the camera mounts onto the cage using a 1\/4″-20 anti-twist screw. A lens adapter support is included to mount onto the front of the cage to provide support for the Tilta RF-to-EF-mount lens adapter.<\/p>\n

This cage features multiple 1\/4″-20 and 3\/8″-16 mounting threads, one shoe mount, and a NATO rail for mounting accessories such as a light, monitor, side handle, top handle, or rod support. There is also one ARRI-style rosette on the bottom of the cage to mount an optional handle for vertical shooting or other extension options. The baseplate is compatible with Tilta full cages and allows you to use the camera with a shoulder support or tripod system, or to add 15mm LWS rod support for accessories like a follow focus, a matte box, or a lens motor. It is designed to put the Canon C70 camera at the proper lens height when mounted onto optional 15mm rods.<\/p>\n

The dovetail bottom slides onto a separately available Tilta-standard dovetail plate or ARRI-style plate when used with the separately available Tilta to ARRI adapter. Tilta Threaded 15mm Rod (Black, 8″, Single)<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Tilta’s 8″ Threaded 15mm Rod\u00a0is a 8″ rod with female threading on both ends. This allows you to use optional threaded rod adapters to extend the length. As a standard practice, Tilta chamfers one end of their rods and leaves the other end with a straight cut. The chamfering makes it easier to slide accessories onto the rod, while the end with the straight cut makes for a smoother rod join.<\/p>\n

The rod is made from machined aluminum for a balance between weight and strength, and then anodized black for wear and corrosion resistance. Please note that there is no industry-wide standard for support rod threading, so when sourcing optional rod extenders, it is best to stay within one brand.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
