NiSi True Protector Explosion-Proof Filter is designed to provide enhanced protection for your Leitz lens at all times including when photographing or recording under conditions with an elevated potential of damage to your lens’s front element. Each of its surfaces features a shatter-proof coating, which creates no additional coloration or contrast and requires no adjustments to exposure.

The NiSi True Protector Explosion-Proof Filter features a screw-in design and is constructed from water white glass for clarity and color fidelity. The filter has a Professional Explosion-Proof Layer that protects the lens as the glass does not shatter like normal glass, is Double-Sided Anti Reflective Waterproof Coated, and has no loss in sharpness. The glass features a cinema edge seal for durability and is compatible with the lens cap included with your lens.

Its 12 lens elements, 2 of which are aspherical, in 8 groups guarantee excellent sharpness and color reproduction at any distance and at every aperture. The high brightness of F1.4 offers the possibility to be creative with depth of field and gives a very nice bokeh. It makes it possible to photograph in very low light conditions and therefore ensures seemingly limitless employability. Which are fast enough for the shooting in just about any light. Thanks to the internal autofocus focusing, the total length of the lens remains unchanged when focusing. The large manual focus ring ensures a very smooth and pleasant focus.

The Leica Summilux-TL 35mm F / 1.4 ASPH. is built from the best materials, glass, and metal and is manufactured in our own factory in Wetzlar Germany. The finish for the black and silver version is made of anodized aluminum and the lens hood is also made of the same material. Finally, the engraved letters and numbers ensure a durable and legible result. In short, a top-quality standard Leica TL lens for years of photo enjoyment.
