This SmallRig Camera Cage is built to safeguard your Sony FX2 while enhancing its mounting versatility, enabling a handheld rig tailored to your production needs. It includes a removable top plate with a NATO rail, allowing you to attach the Sony XLR top handle or alternative handles without blocking the EVF. The cage also offers various mounting options, such as an additional NATO rail, multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads, a cold shoe mount, and a QD socket for a broad range of accessories. A built-in Arca-type quick release plate enables smooth transitions between handheld, gimbal, or tripod setups. An HDMI cable clamp is also included to keep your connections stable.
