The MID49 Upper Cage for Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K is a precision-fit cage designed with 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes, surrounded by ARRI-compatible anti-twist divots and multiple M4 x 20mm ARRI-spaced threaded holes. It includes two 15mm accessory rods, each featuring 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads with anti-twist divots, a cold shoe mount, and a specially contoured recess for various MID49 audio breakout boxes. The cage also incorporates integrated HDMI and USB protector clamps for secure cable management and a front lens support mount that accommodates third-party lens adapters, including those from Metabones.
