The Laowa Nanomorph 80mm T2.4 1.5x S35 lens (Silver) (PL-EF) is a compact and lightweight anamorphic lens designed for capturing high-quality organic images with a 1.5x anamorphic squeeze on S35 sensor cameras. It boasts telephoto compression, making it ideal for close-up shots, along with an aperture range from T2.4 to T16 for achieving deep depth of field. With 13 aperture blades, it delivers soft bokeh.

This prime lens features a short minimum focusing distance of 70 cm and offers anamorphic characteristics such as oval bokeh, shallower depth of field, and distinctive silver lens flares. It includes focus markings in both foot and meter, 0.8 MOD cine gears on focus and aperture rings, and a 62 mm filter thread on the front. The lens mounts, including PL and Canon EF, are interchangeable, allowing flexibility in usage. Additionally, it can be paired with a separately available 1.33x adapter to achieve a squeeze ratio of 2x.

The 1.5x squeeze ratio strikes a perfect balance between size and anamorphic intensity, resulting in an aspect ratio of 2.66:1 on a 16:9 sensor after de-squeezing. With coverage greater than that of the S35, this lens enables minimal vignetting on certain full-frame cameras.
