The Laowa Nanomorph 80mm T2.4 1.5x S35 lens (Amber) (PL-EF) is a compact, lightweight anamorphic lens designed for capturing high-quality organic images on S35 sensor cameras. It features telephoto compression suitable for close-up shots, an aperture range from T2.4 to T16 for achieving deep depth of field, and 13 aperture blades for creating soft bokeh effects.

With a short minimum focusing distance of 70 cm, this prime lens offers anamorphic characteristics such as oval bokeh, shallower depth of field, and distinctive amber lens flares. It also includes focus markings in both foot and meter, 0.8 MOD cine gears on focus and aperture rings, and a 62 mm filter thread on the front. Additionally, the lens comes with interchangeable PL and Canon EF mounts, allowing versatility in compatibility.

For enhanced flexibility, you can use this Nanomorph prime with the separately available 1.33x adapter to achieve a squeeze ratio of 2x. The 1.5x squeeze ratio provides a perfect balance between size and anamorphic intensity, resulting in an aspect ratio of 2.66:1 on a 16:9 sensor after de-squeezing. Moreover, the lens offers coverage greater than that of the S35, enabling minimal vignetting on certain full-frame cameras.
