The Mounting adapter with Built-in Electronic ND (e-ND) employs high-precision hybrid of liquid crystal material, optics and electronic technology. It covers the widest range from 0.6 to 3.3 (2 stops to 10 stops).

At the same time, it remains consistent color accuracy over such wide range when working with TERRA.

L'integrazione di e-ND nell'adattatore di montaggio elimina la necessità di un filtro ND ottico davanti agli obiettivi e quindi di un portafiltro o di una scatola opaca, riducendo notevolmente il carico del sistema di ripresa: più compatto e leggero e anche più fluido. È quindi molto utile per le riprese di un gruppo di persone, per i documentari e per le riprese in ambienti difficili, come le aree polari settentrionali e meridionali.

 

Precisione del colore sull'intera gamma

More importantly, TERRA can sense the e-ND and calibrate it over potential minor color shift automatically, as soon as the mounting adapter with e-ND being attached to TERRA. Then no matter monitoring or recorded footages, TERRA can always maintain color accuracy over the whole tuning range from 0.6 to 3.0.

For optical ND or other glass ND, camera can not detect or get any information from ND glass, and there is no way for the camera to calibrate color shift that ND introduces. However, for mounting adapter with e-ND, TERRA can detect the e-ND automatically, and get the status of e-ND on every slight adjustment operation on e-ND, and then calibrate any potential minor color shift based on the data received. Don’t worry about the color effect when using e-ND on TERRA, let cinematographers focus on shooting.

 

Attenzione:

• L'adattatore di montaggio con e-ND non può essere impostato su Clear, quindi è necessario un adattatore di montaggio normale per le condizioni di scarsa illuminazione o per gli ambienti interni.
• Per l'adattatore di montaggio con e-ND, quando si riprende su alcuni materiali a cristalli liquidi molto speciali, l'immagine potrebbe presentare un inevitabile spostamento del colore;
• La superficie di e-ND è in vetro con rivestimento AR. È possibile pulirlo con molta attenzione. Eventuali danni o graffi al vetro sono fuori garanzia.
